Access & surroundings

At the heart of a land of nature and heritage

Le Logis de l'Épinière enjoys a peaceful yet central setting in the heart of Romanesque Saintonge, on the edge of the Boutonne marshes. Easily accessible, the estate is just 10 km from the A10 motorway exit at Saint-Jean-d'Angély, within the triangle formed by Saintes, Rochefort and Saint-Jean-d'Angély.

This privileged location allows you to reach the main cultural and historical centres of Charente-Maritime quickly, while staying in a calm, preserved natural environment. Character villages, the banks of the Charente, bocage landscapes and marshes offer, right on your doorstep, many options for walks and cycle rides starting from the estate.

Within an hour, the Atlantic coast and the Marais Poitevin unfold complementary landscapes: fine sandy beaches, oyster ports and maritime horizons on one side, a vast network of canals and meadows on the other. The region's emblematic islands — Île d'Aix, Île de Ré and Île d'Oléron — complete these getaways, between nature, heritage and ocean.

Le Logis de l'Épinière is thus an ideal base for exploring the diversity of landscapes and heritage in the region, without long journeys, in a setting conducive to discovery and relaxation alike.
